  The food and drinks are fantastic. The service was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The food is somewhat expensive, but the price was worth it. On my trip to Montreal, I visited three times. Twice for dinner and once for desert. The smoked meat sandwich and Ruben are a definite recommend as is the carrot cake. A must visit in Montreal.

  This is a great place to eat. It opened in 1976!!! I've been going there for 35 yrs since I was a little girl with my Mom and now I go with my love. The smoked meat is great. Pass on the French onion soup cause it's horrible. But the coleslaw and pickle and especially the cheesecake is awesome. It's very popular not fancy at all but so warm and welcoming. We had a great waitress Raya and we always have great service at Reuben's. I highly suggest it.

  The food is good, however after telling the waiter that I was not ready to order (meaning that we wanted more time). He seemed to have gotten an attitude. I was polite in the way I spoke to him, but felt he was being machismo. Still left him a good tip. Diversity is much needed here.

  EXCEPTIONAL! I don’t often give out a full 5⭐️ rating so pay attention if looking for amazing food. Service was great....apart from the waiter teasing me by offering a mimosa but then having the bartender say they didn’t have any champagne (honest mistake) the waiter was funny and fun, my husband an I both got what I would say are house specials for breakfast. I got the RD omelette and he the RD skillet, neither of us could finish the whole thing since they give you a huge portion and talk about bang for your buck we each got toast, home fries and coffee as part of our meal and left stuffed but bill was $30 for 2 people with a full breakfast I don’t know how they offer gourmet breakfast at rock bottom prices but we will for sure be back to this great find next time we are in Montreal ! Oh and while we didn’t eat all the potatoes my hubby and I agree they are the best breakfast potatoes we have ever had
